Why are todays artist so talentless?

Every music artist now depends on songwriters. I mean EVERY I searched through all the popular artist and everyone needs a co writer. Even some rappers. It gets me angry cause most people dont know this when they listen to artist and think they wrote it. Like my sisters a big Gwen Stefani fan and that lady depends on so many people to write for her its not even funny, plus she does like 6 music videos, promotes it alot, gets the biggest producers, and the album barely goes platnium.
