HELP with dust on staticy furniture?

Please let me know the best way to dust- I have several pieces of furniture that appear to have static to them- I have used clean cloths (wash cloths normally used for kitchen use) with dust spray (tried pledge & swiffer spray & changed some cloths several times for one piece)- swiffer dusters- both do remove some of the dust but not all and the next day they are dusty again- how can I remove the static to these pieces- it's driving me crazy- everyday I dust these pieces!!!
