I have a 360. I have a BIG Question?

I was just lokking into buying some xbox 360's with RROD and was planning on fixing them up and selling of use to bring over and play at friends houses. When I then relized. My xbox is a 2008 or 2009. Its a Pro 60 GB. I am just wondering if they can get RROD? I have an extra fan to keep it cool so it will never over heat. the fan is a seperate plug into an outlet so it doesnt suck power out of the 360.
